Choosing a kitten

When you are choosing a kitten and you want to choose a healthy one than you should look for these signs.

1. Curiosity
2. No pot belly
3. Clean eyes
4. Not too skinny
5. Shiny Coat
6. No sneezing or coughing
7. Clean nose
8. Active and playful
   

Playtime

Try to play with your cat every single day. If you live alone try to buy a toy that swings or moves. If you have children and you go to work you don't need to worry because your children will play with the cat. Playtime with your cat also gives your cat exercise and your cat won't be bored.

Getting ready for your new cat or kitten

If you are getting ready for your new cat or kitten here are some supplies you should get. Get a cat carrier to bring your cat home. A food and water bowl,a metal comb,a bed,a litter box,cat litter,a ID tag and collar,and make sure you have the right food for your cat too.

Health

If you want your cat to be healthy and healthy you should have a vet.Be sure to check your cat's gums.If your cat's gums are yellow,blue,white,pale,or red than you should see a vet.Check if your cat is dehydrated.Pinch your cat's skin and let go and if it doesn't snap right back that means your cat is dehydrated.A indoor cat usually lives longer than a outdoor cat.

Grooming

If you have a long hair cat you should groom daily.Shorthair cats also loved to be groomed and so do long haired cats.Long haired cats should be bathed once a month and shorthair cats only when they are dirty or never.but you can still bathe a shorthair cat when you want to.When you're clipping make sure your cat is comfortable when you trim your cat's nails.Make sure you don't cut the quick. the quick is the pink part of your cat's nails.
